Bentley Street Bassets
Testimonial Page

Joni

Sire: Boomer
Dam:  Nana
I purchased a female puppy from you over  six years ago.
Joni has been our family's great joy; I have never met a
dog like her. She NEVER barks and we have NEVER
heard her growl. She walks with me off-leash in parks, she
obeys verbal commands, she is the friendliest  dog,
extremely gentle with other canines and all people. She is
a  true companion in the fullest sense of the word. She
doesn't beg for food or counter-cruise or get on the
furniture. We have a place in the upper peninsula and she
stays around the cottage with no invisible fence or stake.
You breed the nicest, gentlest dogs. You run a transparent
operation and we were introduced to Joni's  parents
(Boomer and Nana) right away; obviously you had nothing
to hide which is not always the case in  breeders.  Please
know that one of your puppies is with a family who loves
her and who makes us laugh every single day. I have
learned patience, met many new friends, been buoyed up
when I'm sad and encouraged when I'm glad just by
having my Basset in my life. My husband and I (and our
kids but they are all grown and gone) cherish our dog and
often talk about you and what you have given us; a friend
for life. Thank-you Linda and please keep doing
what you're doing. Someday we'll be back for another
pup, but certainly plan on enjoying Joni for many more
years.

Thank you for sending me this photo of your wonderful
basset. It's nice to know that eventhough he isn't one of our
puppies, he comes from the same bloodlines.  It
reassures us that we are making the right decisions and
that we are achieving the goals that we set for our home
kennel, providing families with quality bassets!!!

I would like to start by saying how satisfied I am with my
experience with Bentley Street Bassets..  After talking with
other dog enthusiasts, I realized the importance of
working  with a responsible and knowledgeable breeder
when selecting a dog. Linda was not only helpful and
knowledgeable but seemed genuinely concerned about
the type of environment her puppies would be placed in.
When I picked up Sir Leonard Benson "Benny" I could see
that he was content, healthy and well cared for. He has
matured into a beautiful dog with great markings, a unique
character and an adorable disposition. I am grateful to the
dedication that Linda and Bentley street Bassets has
toward the care and placement of their puppies and I
would recommend Bentley Street Bassets to anyone
interested in a Basset hound puppy.
Albert

Sire:  Bambam
Dam:  Bettie
I received a puppy from you in May.  My wife was a little
apprehensive about the responsibility of our new addition
but after a couple of weeks I couldn't separate the two.
She absolutely loves Albert.  Thanks for making my
dreams come true.

Ben is the best companion that we could have asked for.
The only thing better  than a Bentley Street Basset would
be two bassets and that is why we are getting a buddy for
Ben.

These are our two basset hounds that we got from Bentley
bassets. She is very sweet and gentle most of the time but
when it comes to treats get out of the way! He is very
playful most of the time. He loves to wrestle with the kids
and chase the ball. When he's sleeping don't even think
about moving him, he becomes 100 lbs heavier. These
two dogs have turned out to be one of the best
investments we have ever made. They will bring many,
many years of enjoyment to our family. Thank you Linda!

Sandi is a great dog.  She loves to play with her sister and
sleep on the couch.  She has her favorite spot already!!  It
takes forever to get through the pet store when I take her.
Everyone just loves her.  Her personality and color make
her a one of a kind.  She was well worth the 4 hour each
way trip to get her.

farful agnes is a wonderful, loving addition to our home.
we are so pleased with our bentley basset hound. Farful is
quite a character. she loves the lazy boy chair, mc donald's
double cheesburgers and her many toys. Farful loves
going for car rides however the heater must be on to her
comfort level. Farful does not like to be cold. our vet is very
pleased with her condition and we could tell from the
moment we picked her up from linda shaw that farful was
always treated like a member of the family from the start of
her life.   She is quite active and loves children but if she is
asleep you cannot budge her. We will treasure her always.

This is Dixie, our 2nd generation Bentley Street Basset.
We would like to thank Linda for helping us find her. Our
experience with Linda and Dixie's breeder was a great
one. Dixie's parent's are Oscar and Molly. Dixie is a
sweetheart. You just look at her face and fall in love. Of
course, we think she is smart and learning fast. She is a
cuddler and loves to play.

We are very happy with our puppy, Dixie.
