This is Leroy. He is from European Breeding. He was bred at
Smokey Mountain Bassets in Tennessee. He will be joining
our breeding program in 2012 when he gets a little older.
Even on a bad day he can make anyone smile.

Wow, can you believe it's already 2012? The new girls that we added to our breeding
lines are all grown up and we are anxiously waiting to see what their first litters look like.
We plan on offering both American and European style bassets.
American Bassets: Smaller type bassets weighing around 45-65 lbs. Skin is not so
loose and not as much drooling. These bassets still have all of the traits required by the
AKC but require less maintenance than the European bassets. They make wonderful
family members.
European Bassets: Larger bone structure weighing around 75-100 lbs. VERY loose skin
and excessive drooling. They have a very loving temperament but do require more care
due to their loose skin, drooling and large size.
